BSB opens office in Dublin, Ireland

SAP partner BSB continues to further increase its European activities by opening a Dublin office in the Republic of Ireland. To start with, this office will serve a predominantly commercial purpose. A sales team consisting of local resources as well as expatriates and entirely dedicated to Ireland has been working in the new offices in Dublin from the 1st of September 2009.

The main commercial target of the Irish offices is the life insurance market. Ireland has been mainly selected by BSB because the life insurance market over there is very similar to the one in Luxemburg as far as the type of sold products and the cross-border distribution networks are concerned. Given the success that was achieved in the Luxemburg market by BSB and the adequacy of Soliam and Solife software regarding the needs of cross border insurance companies, the similarities of the Irish market will provide BSB with real opportunities.

The official opening of the BSB offices in Ireland is scheduled on 27 October.
